Meet the Owners

Danny Berumen

Owner / Stylist

Danny Berumen has been a Hairdresser for three decades and in that time he has been successfully employed by Toni&Guy/TIGI for 10 years as a Partner and Creative Director and help start the foundation for Toni&Guy California. He has worked as an educator for the Art Team Training of Toni&Guy Advanced Academy in California.

In his time as a Hairdresser, Danny Berumen has been able to travel for the TIGI Linea around the world to promote the education in hopes of motivating the industry to bring it to the next level. Danny's major accomplishment's have been working with the International Art Team of Toni&Guy in their London Art Academy. He has also attained many awards and certificates of accomplishments.

Danny Berumen's "Key to Success" is Support and Team Work. Danny hopes to inspire Hairdressers with constant improvement and never ending change by getting his staff involved and to motivated his team to achieve their goals.

Regina Frykman

Owner / Stylist

Regina has been doing hair for four decades with that she has done extensive education in Color with L’Oreal, Tigi and Goldwell. Regina’s hair cutting background is Allen Edwards ,Tony & GUY and Videl sasoon classes. She loves what she does which is being able to change looks just by simple cut and color placement. She is also involved in salon, education management, and salon ownership.

Vanessa Carter

Owner / Stylist

Vanessa has been working at Daniel Michael salon since 2013. In 2022 she became one of the partners of the salon and the head of the color education. She’s always been one to always try new things and always wanting to learn new techniques! She has now become our blonding specialist and our expert extension stylist. Always looking for new ways to grow herself, one of her favorite things is being able to bring new experiences into the salon!

Ryan Ybarra

Owner / Stylist

Ryan has been at Daniel Michael Salon since 2014. In 2022 she became a partner of Daniel Michael Salon. Ryan specializes in a wide range of color from Brunettes, to Blondes, and Reds. She is passionate about making her clients look and feel beautiful. Ryan is one of our color educators in the salon to our advanced training program. Her personal education journey began with advanced classes with TIGI, L’Oréal, and now currently Goldwell. She has completed the Goldwell Master colorist class at the KAO Academy in NYC. She stays inspired by following latest trends in hair, fashion, and beauty.

Trevor Frykman

Owner / Stylist

Trevor has been a part of the Daniel Michael Salon family since 2008. In 2022 he became of the partners at the salon. He attended Lake Forest Beauty College while starting out as an assistant. Trevor has received advanced education from L'Oreal and TIGI in New York City and Dallas, TX. Trevor loves every aspect of the hair industry, and specializes in both men's and women's cut and color.
